18-year-old Katsiaryna Sadouskaya, daughter of Maladziečna activist Alesia Sadouskaya, has died

Her mother announced Katsiaryna's death on social media.

On the night of August 7, the girl committed suicide.

Alesia Sadouskaya was born in Donetsk. Her mother died when she was still young. In childhood, she moved with her father to his homeland, Belarus. She trained as a salesperson, raising her daughter Katsiaryna alone.

In 2013, Alesia Sadouskaya was beaten at the police station, where she had come to file a complaint, after which she began to fight against the state system. The woman was repeatedly tried and sent for forced treatment for "violence against police officers." For some time, Katsiaryna was placed in a foster family.
