Morocco has named the expressway between the cities of Tiznit and Dakhla after Donald Trump — the "Donald J. Trump Highway". It is Africa's longest highway — more than 1055 km.
The decision was announced by King Mohammed VI of Morocco in a letter as a gesture of gratitude for the United States' recognition in 2020 of Morocco's sovereignty over the disputed territory of Western Sahara.

The US President had previously thanked the King for this decision and expressed hope to one day drive the entire length of the road:
"Thank you to His Majesty Mohammed VI… What a tremendous honor!"
