Rubio: Plan to resume negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to be prepared in coming weeks

"We have always been ready to act as mediators," said the Secretary of State.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested that a plan to resume negotiations between Russia and Ukraine could be prepared in the "coming weeks."

"We have always been ready to act as mediators. And I don't want to be overly optimistic or pessimistic <...> In the coming weeks, there is an opportunity to develop a plan for further initiatives to resume negotiations," said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to him, new initiatives could help find a solution that satisfies both sides.
