“Hello! I am a player for London Dragons...”
Hello!
I am a player for London University ice hockey team London Dragons and we are against the 2014 World Championship in Minsk. I lived in Belarus and support Belarus people’s struggle for freedom.
I asked my team mates whether they were ready to support this idea. I expected them to hesitate, but I was told they all were against their national teams’ playing in the country with political prisoners.
We won British Universities Ice Hockey Championship and all our players as well as their girlfriends were glad to take a picture with banners for human rights in Belarus. There are players from Quebec, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain and Slovakia among us.
Yours sincerely,
Adrien Baudouin.
