On Tuesday, Apple announced that new iPhone 5 is to be presented at the press-conference on September 12, CNN says.
The iPhone 5 will be the first iPhone model with a screen larger than 3.5 inches. Leaked displays and iPhone 5 parts, not to mention a slew of rumors over the past 10 or so months, have all pointed to an iPhone 5 with a 4-inch display. And if that werent enough to demand lines around Apple retail stores on launch day, it's largely believed that the iPhone 5 will support 4G LTE as well. Whereas the iPhone 4S brougth with it rather minor upgrades, the iPhone 5 has two significant improvements right out of the gate. And that doesn't even take into consideration the software enhancements we'll see with iOS 6, which includes a completely revamped Maps app completely devoid of Google influence, Network World writes.
