Minsk residents are taking a shortcut through the center directly on the Svislach. Raids are planned against them
A Minsk resident boasted on social media with new photos of the beauty of snowy downtown Minsk. The frames captured Nyamiha and a section of the Svislach river, where entire families walked on the weekends, noticed "Onliner."

Some assure that people used to play hockey on the Svislach without any problems — everyone just forgot, and with such frosts, "a tank could drive" across the river.
There's also skepticism: frosts, they say, are deceptive, and generally, they claim, closer to the Palace of Sports there's not even any ice — it managed to melt.
"Access to the ice is allowed only with a life vest," replied the Water Rescue Society, adding that raids are soon planned in that very busy spot on the Svislach: everyone found on the ice without a vest will be sent to the shore.
