«Only the Cat Survived». Scorched, it Sat for 12 Hours on the Stairs After an Apartment Fire in Maladzyechna Where Three People Died
They say that last year the owner, who died in the fire, threw this cat from the 7th floor. During the fire, the woman's son jumped from there and died.

On the evening of March 2, a terrible fire occurred in one of the high-rise buildings in Maladzyechna. The apartment owner and her acquaintance burned to death, and the 31-year-old son of the owner died after jumping from a seventh-floor window.

By some miracle, a cat survived the fire. It was severely injured, writes mogilev.in.
Volunteers from the organization 'Chance for Life. Maladzyechna' found the animal on the staircase in the entrance — after the fire, they were messaged in a chat, conveying the words of a rescuer about the cat, which was the only one left alive.
The animal has a scorched muzzle and paws. The cat was immediately taken to veterinarians, where it received first aid.
Over the weekend, as the volunteers reported, the animal will be taken to Minsk to the 'Companion' vet clinic for a consultation with an ophthalmologist.

Many people responded to the call for help on social media: they are transferring money for treatment, bringing food, and some are ready to take her in.
For now, the cat needs treatment, and afterwards, volunteers will try to find relatives of the deceased owners — perhaps they will want to take her, because 'that would be the right thing to do'.
Comments state that allegedly last year the same cat was thrown from the 7th floor by the deceased woman. The animal survived then, and eyewitnesses reported it to the police.
According to the preliminary version of the Investigative Committee, people were drinking and smoking in the apartment on the eve of the fire. Then disaster struck, affecting almost the entire building entrance: apartments above were smoke-damaged, and those below were waterlogged. People are stressed.
And the scorched cat sat on the stairs until volunteers picked her up — according to them, this happened 12 hours after the fire. No one paid attention to her the entire time.
