Lukashenka emphasized that many Uzbeks who are ready to work already live in Belarus, so the authorities are happy to invite them with their entire families. He noted that population growth in Belarus is significantly lower than in Uzbekistan, so hardworking foreign workers are welcome.
Lukashenka also assured that the Belarusian authorities strictly control the acceptance of foreign workers, so that people know exactly what job they are invited for. Belarusians, meanwhile, allegedly provide all necessary conditions for their children — from kindergartens and schools to higher education, on par with Belarusians, Russians, Ukrainians, and others.
Lukashenka emphasized that Belarus offers wide opportunities for life and work, and Minsk is ready to develop cooperation with Tashkent, taking into account Uzbekistan's historical assistance to Belarusians during evacuation in the war years.
