The warming is associated with active southern air currents, which will raise the temperature by approximately 3-5 degrees above normal for this time. As a result, snow will melt quickly.
At the same time, it will be slightly colder in the north and east of the country, and significantly warmer in the southwest. No precipitation is expected in most regions, but fogs are possible.
The beginning of the week will be under the influence of an anticyclone and warm air masses from the southwest of Europe. On Monday night, the temperature will range from -4 in the east to +2 in the west, and during the day – from +4 in the Vitsebsk region to +15 in the Brest region. On Tuesday night, -3 to +3 is expected, and during the day – from +9 to +15, around +10 in the center of the country. The wind will be south-westerly, moderate.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be determined by a high-pressure area, so predominantly dry weather will persist. On Wednesday night, temperatures are forecast from -1 to +5, and during the day – from +6 in the Vitsebsk region to +16 in the Hrodna and Brest regions. On Thursday night, also from -1 to +5, and during the day – from +5 in the north to +14 in the southwest.
No significant changes are expected on Friday: no precipitation in most areas, moderate south-westerly wind and increased humidity. At night it will be from 0 to +7, and during the day – from +6 in the east to +10 - +14 in the Brest and Hrodna regions.
On the weekend, the weather will change slightly due to a cyclone from the Baltic. It will bring short-term rains and windier weather. On Saturday night, the temperature will be from -1 in the northeast to +5 in the west, and during the day – from +9 in the north to +14 in the southwest. On Sunday night, -1 to +5 is expected, and during the day – from +5 in the Vitsebsk region to +13 in the Brest and Hrodna regions.
