The majority — about 75% — of citizens who received income exceeding 200 thousand rubles in 2024 lived in Minsk and the Minsk region.
An increased tax rate of 25% was applied to income from employment, dividends, and income under civil law contracts. More than 60% of the declarations concerned income from abroad, mainly from CIS countries.
Andrey Kavaleuski did not specify what the maximum income declared last year was.
"Nevertheless, this is a certain degree of tax secrecy, but I can say that these were dividends from a Belarusian organization. And the dividends amounted to significantly more than 10 million rubles. Not 100 million rubles, but significantly more than 10 million rubles," he noted.
As of March 9, 2026, about 20 thousand declarations for 2025 had already been submitted, and by the end of the campaign, 45-50 thousand declarations are expected. The deadline for filing for 2025 is no later than March 31, 2026, and tax payment is no later than June 1, 2026.
