Rapeseed oil must now be on the shelves of all food retail outlets, not just hypermarkets, as it was before.

The corresponding resolution of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and will come into force in two months.
The document also notes that rapeseed oil will have to be sold in non-food stores if they carry food products.
The requirement has also been introduced for small non-specialized retail outlets that also sell food products, including mini-markets and pavilions with an area of 50 sq. m or more.
For hyper- and supermarkets, the norm has been increased. Previously, it was enough to display 1—2 items on the shelves. Now, depending on the object’s area, it’s 1 to 5.
