Belarus to open embassy in DPRK and start negotiating visa-free travel
Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov spoke about the tasks set for his ministry following Alexander Lukashenka's talks with Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang.

Among the tasks outlined for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ryzhenkov named the opening of a Belarusian embassy in the DPRK, noting that the North Korean diplomatic mission has been operating in Minsk for a long time.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also expedite work on an agreement on visa-free travel for citizens of Belarus and the DPRK.
The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the parties intend to rely on the signed agreement on friendship and cooperation to uncover the full range of issues where there is potential for mutual support in achieving development goals.
Among the promising areas are healthcare, education, and agriculture.
"They are just as concerned about food security as we are. Here we can assist them and lend a hand. In healthcare, they are very interested in our developments," Maxim Ryzhenkov stated.
