The Chukotka Autonomous Okrug offered Belarus to join the development of gold mines in the region. This was announced on the TV channel "Belarus 1" by Anton Yaramchuk, Deputy Governor of the Russian Okrug.

The prospect of developing gold mines could become one of the new directions of cooperation, which a delegation from this Russian region recently discussed with Alexander Lukashenka during a recent visit to Minsk.
As the Vice-Governor noted, the Russians showed and discussed a map of available plots for gold mining from the undeveloped subsoil fund, which might be of interest to Belarusian companies for development.
