Minsk Region Housing and Utilities Sector Switches to Enhanced Mode from April 18 to 21
Housing and utility enterprises of the Minsk region will switch to an enhanced operating mode during the long weekend from April 18 to 21. Round-the-clock duty of responsible persons and operational-repair personnel has been organized to ensure the uninterrupted operation of life support systems in cities and towns.

Duty officers have been appointed at "Minsk Region Housing and Utilities" and at enterprises in all districts of the region.
During the holidays, 725 people will be involved in 119 emergency recovery brigades. Special control will be exercised over fire safety at residential and non-residential facilities.
A reserve of specialized equipment has been formed in case of unfavorable weather conditions.
The removal of solid municipal waste and secondary material resources will continue in standard mode.
Control over power grid facilities and fire safety, including fuel and energy infrastructure, will be enhanced.
Equipment has been prepared for emergencies: 108 units of automotive equipment for pumping if necessary, 117 excavators of various modifications, 124 units of motor pumps.
For uninterrupted supply to consumers in case of emergency situations, the following are available: three mobile block-modular boiler houses; 124 mobile power sources.
