BelGee company offered customers a discount on cars. But there was one nuance
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade issued a warning to the BelGee company for violations in car advertising.

The reason was complaints from citizens and an analysis of how the company promoted the "New Prices" program for the Belgee S50 model. As the inspection showed, the advertisement presented information about alleged discounts, but the actual price structure was different.

Previously, a car of this model was sold at one price, and later the company announced a "one-time discount". However, the new base price was increased, so the "discount" was already calculated from a higher level. As a result, the real price burden for the buyer actually did not change, although in the advertisement it looked like a profitable promotion.
The MART considered that such an approach could mislead consumers regarding the true benefit of the purchase, and therefore demanded not to use similar marketing schemes.
