Money Allocated from Lukashenka's Fund for Restoration of Two Churches
Alexander Lukashenka signed an order on the allocation of 3.6 million rubles from his fund for the restoration of religious buildings in Zhirovichi and Budslau.

The main part of the funds — about 3.4 million rubles — will be used to continue the restoration of the iconostasis of the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Zhirovichi. Work there began back in 2025: the upper part of the 17th-century iconostasis has already been restored, and now it is planned to restore the remaining elements.
In addition, more than 260 thousand rubles will be directed to the Minsk-Mogilev Archdiocese of the Catholic Church for priority work in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Budslau. Among the tasks are documentation preparation and strengthening of the church's foundations, walls, and structures.
The Budslau church was severely damaged by fire in 2021, after which its restoration continued thanks to donations and state support.
