A "Memorandum of Understanding" between the US and Iran provides for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and a temporary easing of sanctions against Iran. Axios writes this, citing sources.
Axios writes that the agreement includes Iran's commitment to never possess nuclear weapons and to resolve the situation around its enriched uranium.
According to a source in US diplomatic circles, the memorandum addresses all nuclear issues in detail and "satisfies all US requirements."
The deal is reported to extend the ceasefire for 60 days, including in Lebanon.
As of Thursday evening, the deal had been approved by the Iranian side at a high level, but likely not by Mojtaba Khamenei, two sources told Axios.
