Body of Man Who Disappeared in Forest Last Year Found in Hlusk District

On June 14, rescuers received a report about the discovery of a man's body in a swamp near the village of Baravishcha, Hlusk district. This was reported by the Water Rescue Society.

The pensioner, born in 1941, went missing back in October 2025. At that time, he went mushroom picking with his wife in the forest near the village of Volnitsa and got lost. Despite organized search efforts, he could not be found then, and the man was considered missing.

The deceased was found by a local resident. According to the eyewitness, while picking mushrooms, he noticed the body in the water about 4 meters from the shore. Soon, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations pulled the deceased from the swamp.
