Left her bag in a taxi

Belarusians living in Poland have most likely seen Katerina's viral videos on Instagram or TikTok about the life of migrants in Poland.

Together with friends, the blogger went on holiday to Malta, where she lost her handbag with documents and money.

In the video, Katerina says that it has been more than five days since she got stuck in Malta.

"I never thought this would happen to me," she says.

Before her flight back, Katerina left her bag in a taxi.

"And when we realized the bag was gone, it was too late. Most likely, it was stolen by passengers who got in (the taxi) after us," says the blogger, adding that the bag contained her Belarusian passport, a Polish residence permit based on international protection, money, and personal belongings.

Returning is harder than she thought

Katerina was sure that it would be enough for her to contact the police, then the (Polish) consulate, and within 1-2 days she would be home.

"But in reality, it turned out that returning to Poland without documents is even harder than I could have imagined. I am still in Malta and looking for options to get home," she says in the video.

между Мальтой и Польшей нет визового режима, кто мешает не лететь самолетом, где смотрят визы, а доехать до материка на корабле, а потом автобусами и поездами?
