Taylor Swift Paid 160 Thousand Dollars to Coordinate Her Grand Wedding with New York Authorities
Total wedding expenses could have amounted to about 20 million dollars.

Taylor Swift paid 160 thousand dollars to coordinate her grand wedding with New York authorities. This was stated by city mayor Zohran Mamdani, writes BBC.
At a press conference, he was asked if Swift would pay for the overtime work of police officers who ensured security during the ceremony. As Variety writes, Mamdani laughed and said that she had already paid for the wedding permit.
“The amount was over $160,000 for hosting this event and for its security measures. This permit, as I recall, was finalized just a few days before the event itself,” said the Mayor of New York.
Swift's wedding to American football player Travis Kelce was celebrated in Manhattan over two days — July 2 and 3.
Over a thousand guests attended, and streets around the "Madison Square Garden" arena, where the ceremony took place, were blocked. All of this required the involvement of a large number of police officers.
The cost of the wedding itself is not reported, but American Forbes estimated that total expenses could have amounted to about 20 million dollars.
