Laurusenka is a graduate of the I. V. Akhremchyk Minsk Gymnasium-College of Arts. Since 2023, he has continued his studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

The sculpture's name comes from the Welsh word "hiraeth", which means a special state of deep longing for a home or place to which it is no longer possible to return.
The work became part of an exhibition by academy students; the exhibition may change its location in the city over time.
