Zelenskyy: The pace of Patriot missile transfers to Ukraine has decreased threefold this year
Meanwhile, partners still have these munitions in their warehouses, says the President of Ukraine.

This year, the supply of anti-ballistic missiles from partners to Ukraine has significantly decreased. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, writes UNIAN.
"The number of missiles for air defense in supplies has decreased threefold compared to 2025. And we are talking not only about the summer period but about all periods of the first half of 2026. Partners have missiles. It is important that the necessary political decisions regarding supplies and the acceleration of production processes, including localization in Ukraine, are still made. This is what can significantly support not only our country but also global life defense," Zelenskyy said after a meeting with Ukrainian military personnel.
The President also added that he discussed with the military and special services priorities regarding long-range strikes on Russia.
"Operations against Russian oil facilities and processing continue. The cost of prolonging the war for the aggressor will increase. It is important that partners' sanctions against Russia strengthen our long-range capabilities. We will discuss this with key states. There are things that should be additionally implemented in sanction policy," Zelenskyy added.
Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Donald Trump denied Zelenskyy's request to transfer hundreds of Patriot missiles to Ukraine. The White House chief explained this decision by a lack of anti-ballistic missiles in US warehouses, as well as the need for their use by American troops in the Middle East.
It is noted that during another ballistic attack by Russia on the night of August 5, Russian troops used almost three dozen missiles. According to the Air Force of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders did not shoot down any of them.
