In early October, the renowned literary critic and researcher will deliver two lectures in Vilnius.
On October 1st, at the Ivan Lutskiewicz Belarusian Museum in Vilnius (Vilenskaya, 20), his lecture "Empire Against Youth: The History of Vilnius Philomaths" will take place.
Lecture topics: Vilnius University and its role in the cultural life of the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania. A brief history of secret circles of Vilnius youth. Goals and methods of work of the Philomath Society. Unmasking the society, the course of the investigation, and methods of persecution. The fates of the Philomaths.

And on October 2nd, at the "Belarusian Castle" (Naujoji Riovonių, 10), he will deliver a lecture on Uladzimir Karatkevich's "Ears Under Your Sickle".
Aliaksandr Fiaduta will share his vision of "Ears Under Your Sickle", its characters, and the meanings of the legendary novel. Public discussion is welcome.
