An activist tells about a visit to the Investigating Committee.
Andrej Mouchan — the activist of European Belarus who was brutally beaten by police last month — visited the Investigating Committee.
“The talk lasted for around an hour. However, the investigators had been trying to send away the sister who came with me for 30 minutes. In the end, they told that they will call police and she’ll be accused of the Administrative Code violation.
“They didn’t prove that there is a legal reason to send her away, but she left anyway,” says Andrej Mouchan.
“Then they showed me my previous testimonies and asked if I agreed with them? I agreed. The investigators promised me to give a referral for a medical examination. I told them I was on a sick leave and all necessary documents may be found in the hospital.
“And then they asked me, ‘Maybe you have beaten yourself? Who knows? ’”
I understood they tried all means to accuse and make me guilty.
As it was reported before, Andrej Mouchan held an action of solidarity with Siarhiej Kavalienka and walked with the white-Red-White flag in Minsk. Soon after his departure, he was brutally beaten by police officers.
