Former Administration Ideologist Appointed Head of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies

Andrei Kuntsevich, former ideologist of the Presidential Administration, has become the new head of Lukashenka's analytical center — the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies.
Andrei Kuntsevich was born in 1979 in Byalynichy. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at BSU. He returned to Byalynichy, worked as the head of the letters department for the Byalynichy district newspaper «Zara nad Drutsiu», and later — as the editor of this newspaper.
Later, he graduated from the Academy of Public Administration. He held a number of ideological positions. From January 2017, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. In 2019—2021 — he worked as Deputy Head of the Administration, where he coordinated ideological work, work with media, and public organizations. From April 2021, he was First Deputy Minister of Information.
