Lukashenka About Younger Son: His Temper Isn’t God’s Gift, Just Like His Father Once Had
Aliaksandr Lukashenka told about his younger son Mikalaj.
“I’m used to talk to younger son while on the way to school. He is jealous. He sits on my laps and asks: ‘Am I your only son?’ I say: ’What about Vikar and Dzmitry?’ Then he tells me: ‘Why do you tell about them, they’ve grown up. They are your sons, but they have their kids already.’ He usually says it because he is jealous, despite he hits it off with them [Lukashenka’s two elder sons],” Aliaksandr Lukashenka said in the interview with international TV channel Mir.
Lukashenka told whether his son liked to be in front of cameras together with his dad. “He is fond of not cameras, but of a process I participate in.
He likes such my activities, but not the ceremonial events, not the meetings. He is growing up and he is interested in something vivid.”
Lukashenka also told about some moments of his son’s school life.
“Restrictions are significant in the school, and if he is prevented from some activities with the rest of the kids (it happens rarely — and my stance on this is extremely negative — though sometimes it happens doe to security requirements, etc.) he worries much.
He comes to me and “tortures” me: he says he is like the others, asks why they do it to him. It is wonderful he understands it.
“His temper isn’t God’s gift — just like his father had once. But I think he will become a good man,” Lukashenka noted.
Lukashenka could not but touch the Belarus–EU relations.
He accused Europe of the double standards saying that Russia’s regime is harsher than in Belarus, but the EU is scared to pressure Moscow while it demands impossible from Minsk.
