Finally it happened: Belarus became the background for the new episode of South Park. And furthermore, Belarus appeared in the animated show before (!) it appeared in Simpsons.
Many wondered why Belarus primarily known for its President Aliaksandr Lukashenka who is usually called “Europe’s last dictator” by western mass media (actually, this cliché may be found almost in each article or video reportage from Belarus) had never appeared in South Park since the sitcom launch in 1997 while many other authoritarian rulers had their cameos in an episode or even were “granted” permanent supporting roles.
However, Lukashenka does not appear in the 13th episode of the season 16, but there is no lack of Belarusian farmers who keep fighting for their land as they follow the example of Stan who remained the only person all around the USA who hadn’t abandoned the W.W.J.D. (What would Jesus do?).
Then, the South Park kids find the way to support Belarusian farmers: to sell bracelets.
