Departure of released political prisoners from Ukraine to take place in the coming days
The issue of the departure of released Belarusian political prisoners from Ukraine to EU countries has not yet been resolved due to a lack of documents and logistical difficulties. However, the situation is starting to clear up. This was reported to "Zerkalo" by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's diplomatic advisor Dzianis Kuchynski.

According to Kuchynski, active work is currently underway to coordinate the details of the departure. Representatives of several countries are involved in the process.
— First of all, we are coordinating actions between the Ukrainian, American, Polish, and Lithuanian sides to organize the transfer of our heroes from Ukraine. It is expected to take place in the coming days. More clarity on the details and logistics should emerge today, — the advisor reported.
He also noted that other European states are ready to provide assistance.
— We are in contact with Germany, the Czech Republic, and other European countries that are preliminarily ready to provide assistance. Today in Vilnius, I will hold a briefing for the ambassadors of NB8 (Nordic and Baltic countries) and Spain, and will also ask for support for the released political prisoners, — added Kuchynski.
He emphasized that work is being carried out almost around the clock.
— I am in constant contact with European and American colleagues. Directly on the ground in Ukraine, great work is being done by the head of the democratic forces mission in Kyiv, Sviatlana Shatsilina, and the representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for National Defense, Vadzim Kabanchuk. The representative for social issues, Volha Zazoulinskaya, together with human rights defenders, is coordinating the logistics for receiving people in Lithuania and Poland, — he said.
Kuchynski thanked the EU partners for their readiness to help, especially noting Poland and Lithuania, as well as Ukraine, which received Belarusian political prisoners and provided them with all necessary conditions.
On Sunday, December 14, the head of the Belarusian democratic forces mission in Kyiv, Sviatlana Shatsilina, told "Zerkalo" that the process of coordinating lists and departure procedures with the Ukrainian side was underway. She also noted that the lack of passports for many of those released does not affect their current status in Ukraine.
On December 13, 123 political prisoners were released, including prominent protest figures — Maryna Zolatava, Maryia Kalesnikava, Viktar Babaryka, Ales Bialiatski, Maksim Znak. The majority of them — 109 people — were taken to Ukraine.
