5G Coverage Zones Appear in Minsk

Blogger Dzianis Blisch noticed that 5G icons suddenly lit up on the phones of mobile subscribers in Minsk, indicating the appearance of a new generation of communication. The 5G signal has already been detected on Bryketa Street, as well as in "Minsk-World" and in the area of Kalvaryjskaya and Klary Tsetkin streets.

As Blizko.by writes, 5G zones have been observed among all three mobile operators (A1, MTS, Life), and users have started sharing screenshots of their phones with speed measurements. These speeds, it must be said, in some places do not differ significantly from those that previous generation networks — 4G — can provide.

Dzianis Blisch recalled that in November, at the A1 TechDay 2025 conference, Pavel Tkach, First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization, stated that experimental 5G zones might appear this year.
