Tsikhanouskaya gave away 15,000 euros from Lukashenka to support political prisoners
In an interview with the journalist of «Euroradio» Dmitry Lukashuk, the leader of the Belarusian democratic forces, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, reported to «Euroradio» about the fate of the 15 thousand dollars that were handed to her in August 2020 in Minsk before she left abroad.

According to Tsikhanouskaya, she donated this money to a fundraiser supporting released political prisoners.
“Let's consider this a donation from the regime to our political prisoners,” Tsikhanouskaya said.
The propaganda started reporting shortly after that Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya was given 15,000 euros by representatives of Lukashenka's regime before her forced expulsion to Lithuania in 2020.
This year, on August 6, the state channel ONT showed footage of an operational recording from August 10, 2020, from the Tsikhanouskys' apartment in Minsk. It shows Andrei Paulyuchenka, head of the Operative-Analytical Center (OAC), handing Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya a package.
The contents of the package were not visible in the video, but Paulyuchenka himself said it contained money. After the demonstration of this story, Tsikhanouskaya stated that only then did she decide to open the package, which had been with her for almost five years.
The package indeed contained 15,000 euros in new banknotes, she reported.
“I didn't talk about this ill-fated envelope because I was ashamed that I had it. I didn't even want to touch it,” Tsikhanouskaya said then.
