Media manager, ex-political prisoner Kanstantsin Zalatych moved to Warsaw. On his Facebook page, he indicated the capital of Poland as his place of residence.
The director of «Belarusy i Rynok» was arrested on May 18, 2022, and on April 6, 2023, he was sentenced to 4 years in a penal colony on charges of insulting a government official (Art. 369 of the Criminal Code), insulting Lukashenka (Art. 368 of the Criminal Code), inciting hatred (Art. 130 of the Criminal Code), and abuse of power or official authority (Art. 426 of the Criminal Code).
The trial in Zalatych's case took place behind closed doors.
He was released on October 23, 2025.
