Pazniak named the common interest of Germany and Russia. This is the annexation of Belarus
Veteran Belarusian politician Zianon Pazniak published a new post "On the Role of Mercenaries in Politics", in which he sharply criticized Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office and European diplomacy. He calls representatives of democratic forces "mercenaries" who, in his opinion, are an instrument of German policy aimed at liquidating Belarusian statehood through an alliance with "democratic Russia".

Pazniak claims that Germany is interested in the annexation of Belarus to Russia for the sake of obtaining cheap access to energy resources. He calls Tsikhanouskaya's Office a "proxy group" that is financed by the European Union to implement this strategy.
"The essence of the German position is the liquidation of the Belarusian state by incorporating it into Russia.
The economic interest of such a policy is cheap access to Russian energy resources — oil and gas.
The political interest is pressure on Poland (solving old and persistent problems).
The method is to support the fight against the dictatorship by creating an anti-regime and pro-Russian opposition in Belarus, dependent on Germany (European Union).
The tool, the instrument of liquidation, is an abstract demand for democracy without regard for Belarusian national interests and national existence, with the aim of uniting with "democratic" Russia, which was previously falsely called "democracy," writes Pazniak.
The politician believes that economic sanctions do not destroy the dictatorship, but only push the Belarusian economy and society towards Russia.
Pazniak accuses European leaders of using "the fiction of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's figure as an allegedly elected person for the president of Belarus" for these purposes.
"The actions of the EU policy of Germany are well thought out, systemic, and traditional.
Since 2020, the European Union has taken under financial provision a group of pro-Russian, Gazprom-affiliated electoral opposition, taken to Lithuania.
Moreover, the fiction of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's figure as an allegedly elected person for the president of Belarus was consciously supported (which was not confirmed by anything, neither realistically nor legally).
The political spectacle with the "president" was played out for five years and, in fact, continues to this day," writes Pazniak.
The politician says that Tsikhanouskaya's team demands sanctions that harm the people, so that later they can "enter Belarus on the shoulders of European politicians" — "so that, during the collapse of Lukashenka's regime and sudden changes, EU political figures could legally enter Belarus on the shoulders of their hired 'opposition' and establish 'democracy' there — without a nation and without Belarus."
"It is well understood that wherever Germany (EU) appears in Belarus, Russia will also be there, and common interests that usually lead to a policy of annexation under the guise of unification with 'democratic Russia'. Such a policy of Germany against Belarus under the Brussels roof has long been, as they say, an open secret," argues Pazniak.
But, writes the veteran of the Belarusian movement, "mercenaries" have no chance of success in the future, and "no one expects them" in the country.
"The significance lies in the end of mercenary work — where they want to come and whom they want to bring with them — who will decide the fate of Belarus 'together with Russia'." I am no longer talking about the parallel diseases of Western society (which will 'arrive' afterwards) — priorities of sexual deviance, hedonism, godlessness, and moral deception of society. But if the reality of 'together with Russia' arises, then all of this will no longer matter.
Here I will repeat myself. Mercenaries can still do damage. Only nothing will come of what was planned against Belarus. No one expects them in Belarus. And even less so their Euro-German PR people, who have caused trouble for Belarusians with their economic sanctions. Abandon your hopes, gentlemen Euro-politicians, you will have nothing to do in a free Belarus.
In Belarus, there are forces capable of putting hired imitators behind bars as soon as they set foot on the ground. There are also things that Germans — cannot understand. Because it is not given," wrote Pazniak.
