Alexander Lukashenka said that due to excess weight, he had to reconsider his diet and give up some products. He announced this on January 20 during the presentation of awards for the State Quality Mark.

During a visit to the exhibition "Achievements of Sovereign Belarus," Lukashenka stopped at the stand of the "Dzerzhinsky" agricultural complex, where he spoke with the head of the enterprise, Uladzimir Lukyanau. In the conversation, he admitted that he no longer consumes chocolate.
According to the politician, when he saw products in the catalog, including "Alyonka" chocolate, he wanted to try it but abandoned the idea. As Lukashenka says, "fugitives" constantly point out that he "gained weight," so he is now trying to lose it. That's why, according to him, he excluded chocolate and Rogachev condensed milk from his diet. Instead of all this, he was brought turkey from the exhibition, which he tried during the day.
Previously, Lukashenka says, he sometimes allowed himself to eat sausage at night:
"Sometimes I sinned in the evening. I would take a piece, cut it off, eat it without bread."
But these sins are now in the past. Now, in the evenings, Lukashenka allegedly eats nothing at all.
