Negotiations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus with the leadership of Afghanistan's National Development Corporation, BelTA reports .

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Lukashevich met on February 16 with an Afghan delegation representing the country's leading state company in the field of infrastructure and construction.
It is reported that during the negotiations, the parties noted great prospects for increasing supplies of Belarusian machinery, agricultural, and other products to Afghanistan, which are necessary for the implementation of large development projects in the country.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify contacts in the fields of industry, agriculture and food, healthcare, and education.
Earlier, the same Sergei Lukashevich had already met with representatives of the Afghan Islamist movement "Taliban," which seized power in the country in 2021, in January 2025 in Kabul.
