Montenegrin border guards found weapons in the car of the honorary consulate of Belarus in Bosnia and Herzegovina
On the border of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the 'Šćepan Polje' border crossing, a car belonging to the honorary consulate of Belarus in Bosnia and Herzegovina was detained. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, as noted by the Reform.news publication.

On the night of March 26-27, Montenegrin border police officers conducted a check as part of the fight against cross-border crime. They stopped an Audi A8 car, driven by a 44-year-old citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a resident of Sarajevo.

During the inspection, in the trunk and a travel bag, the police found a Glock 45 FS pistol with a magazine and 17 rounds of ammunition. The incident was reported to the state prosecutor in Nikšić. The driver was detained, and the weapon and ammunition were confiscated.
According to the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary, the honorary consul of Belarus in Bosnia and Herzegovina is Nedeljko Elek, who, in 2024, visited Belarus together with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.
