Tour agency director did not recognize the Belarusian language when congratulating on the Day of Unity of Belarus and Russia. And continues to dig herself in
Iryna Dubrouskaya, director of the "Na Vyshatsi" (On Top) tour agency, showed in Threads how Minsk is decorated for the Day of Unity of Belarus and Russia. In the comments, someone asked in Belarusian if Moscow was decorated in the same way.

Iryna published photos and videos taken near the Palace of the Republic in Minsk on Threads. They show compositions of flags in red-green and white-blue-red colors.
"Well, Belarus and Russia. Happy Unity Day to us. Minsk is decorated and ready for the holiday," wrote the director of the "Na Vyshatsi" tour agency.
The most popular comment under the post gathered 235 likes. And it read: "Have you seen them do something like this in Moscow these days? Just something to think about."
Iryna did not understand that this comment was written in Belarusian and replied in Russian: "I don't know your language. Write in Belarusian or Russian."
Soon, she apparently realized that she had publicly admitted her ignorance and deleted her comment.

But screenshots started circulating on social media, collecting outraged comments. Some people came to Iryna's comments themselves to point out the absurdity of the situation to her.
The director of the tour agency reacted quite aggressively. She tried to explain her nonsensical comment by saying: "Excuse me. I don't read messages on social networks carefully. If I see hate, I just send it away."
Iryna believes that all negative comments are written by bots of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya (Iryna calls the democratic leader a housewife).

She also recalls her grievances from 2020, telling stories on the level of the crucified boy hoax: "It was 2020. My company was fighting the pandemic and sanctions against the World Championship. As a result, it was moved to Riga. We lost a lot financially then. And then I started receiving threats that my 15-year-old daughter would be passed around (she's a beauty, isn't she? Yes, she is a beauty). That's why, in the 6th week of pregnancy, I lost her brother/sister. An ambulance took me from the office, and I voted in the hospital after two operations. And then the 'housewife's' adherents still had hysterics outside my windows for another six months."
It should be noted that the World Ice Hockey Championship was moved from Minsk to Riga after the 2020 elections, not before, as in the woman's story.

The woman doesn't stop there. She dedicated a new post to the scandal: "I am developing the beauty and hospitality of my native country. And the housewife's bots are interfering. How to react to people who have failed at everything and are trying to *eff up private business in Belarus?"
To the question of what a person who doesn't even know her own language can tell, Iryna tried to answer in Belarusian — but it turned out to be perhaps a "D" on a ten-point scale: "Ну давайте паразмауляем па беларускі. Только вряд ли вы яго ведаеце" (Well, let's talk in Belarusian. Only I doubt you know it).

To the famous quote by Kastus Kalinouski that the people of Belarus will only live happily when there is no Muscovite over them, Iryna again reacted in Trasianka (a mix of Belarusian and Russian): "Ну Калиновский давно в могиле. А мы живём здесь и сейчас. И точно его позіркі мимо. Странно ссылаться на мнение людей, которых давно нет" (Well, Kalinouski has been in the grave for a long time. And we live here and now. And his views are certainly beside the point. It's strange to refer to the opinions of people who are long gone).
Many commentators hope that Iryna is actually a Russian living in Belarus — that's why she cannot recognize Belarusian. But no.
Iryna studied at a lyceum in Navapolatsk, then graduated from Polatsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk. From 2001 to 2009, she worked in the Navapolatsk city executive committee.
Then followed 7 years of work at "Elektrosila" and two years at the private medical center "Lode" (as head of the client relations department). In 2018, Iryna founded the "Na Vyshatsi" tour agency.
In 2021, she posted photos on social media from a car rally in support of Lukashenka.

Iryna likes to post videos that mock the authorities of European Union countries — in particular, Lithuania.

Iryna is also a member of the primary organization of women entrepreneurs in Minsk. Last October, the woman published photos from Lukashenka's Palace of Independence.
Periodically, the former executive committee employee confesses her love for the dictator: "Until 2020, I took tourists to Europe and Ukraine. In general, I opened my business for these destinations. And 2019 was crazy in a good sense of the word. Thousands of tourists — and all grateful. In 2020, they clearly outlined to me: either your president is a housewife with this blogger miracle and open borders (I laughed), or Lukashenka, closed borders, business losses. Everyone who knows me knows that I chose business losses. In 2020, we chose our Belarus. Today, sanctions against 'Belavia' have been lifted, the US president gives cufflinks to Batka, we are friends with Russia and China. And we saved our country and 'bones'. And how to build 'meat' — we know. With another Victory, my dear."

Now Iryna takes groups to Russia and other visa-free countries for Belarusians (but also tries to do something through Europe).
For example, last May 9, she photographed herself with tourists at the Tula Arms Museum — a "patriotic" event was taking place there at the time: visitors were invited to write a letter with their warmest wishes to the "Zashchitnikam Otechestva" (Defenders of the Fatherland).

However, Iryna's dream for 2026 is connected with Germany. The woman says she very much hopes to visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castle this year.
