Starting in April, "Beltelecom" finally began disconnecting payphones in Minsk. This happened more than two months later than the initially announced deadlines, noted the publication Blizko.by.

"Beltelecom" at the end of last year reported that they would disconnect them from January 20, but for some reason, this did not happen.
Even after that date, Blizko.by regularly called payphones near the Main Post Office and at metro stations "Uskhod" (Vostok), "Maskoŭskaja" (Moskovskaya), "Piatroŭščyna" (Petrovschina), "Uručča" (Uruchie), "Instytut Kultury" (Institut Kultury) and others. The call went through, it was possible to make a call and talk.
On Monday, March 30, journalists still called a payphone in the underground passage of the "Piatroŭščyna" metro station. Immediately after that, a sign appeared: payphones would be disconnected from April 1.

Indeed, several checked payphones are no longer working. There is no dial tone in the handset. And when trying to call a payphone, either long rings occur, or a message is issued that the call cannot be made.
Therefore, it can now be accurately said: an era lasting more than 90 years has finally ended.
In the north of Belarus, a huge lake existed — 150 times larger than Narach. It disappeared as a result of a natural disaster, but its traces are visible today
