According to Fico, the visit will have a limited format: he plans to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin wall and hold a short meeting with the Russian leader. Fico noted that this would be a format similar to his previous trips.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin in its reports emphasizes that Fico is going to Moscow specifically for the parade.
The Slovak prime minister also stated that during his trip to the summit in Armenia, he did not receive significant questions from other leaders regarding his visit to Russia and emphasizes the importance of dialogue, stating that he has his own arguments for such contacts.
However, his flight route caused complications: Poland and the Baltic countries denied the use of their airspace, so the question of the route remains open or limited.
