Russia struck Kyiv with missiles and drones. An entrance of a multi-story building collapsed
On Thursday night, Russia launched a combined drone and missile attack on Kyiv. In the Darnytskyi district of the Ukrainian capital, an entire section of a residential building was destroyed, with people potentially under the rubble, authorities report.

Authorities report that at least one person was killed and 16 were injured as a result of the strikes, writes the BBC.
The night shelling followed one of the most massive drone attacks on Ukraine: during May 13, Russian military forces launched about 900 drones, killing at least six people in several regions of the country.
During the night, reports appeared on the Air Force's Telegram channel about numerous missiles and drones flying towards Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as near Cherkasy and in the Poltava region.
Among other things, the Ukrainian capital was struck by ballistic missiles, with reports of loud explosions.
Information then began to arrive about falling missile debris and destruction in Kyiv, including fires in residential buildings.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that a residential building in the Darnytskyi district was damaged as a result of the Russian strike. «The structures collapsed. There are people trapped under the rubble,» Tkachenko writes.
He did not specify which type of weapon was used to strike the building.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, a search and rescue operation is underway at the scene.
Published photographs show rescuers carrying at least one injured person from under the rubble.
The Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that 10 people were rescued from the damaged multi-story residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, but work at the scene continues.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, writes that as a result of the night strike on Kyiv, at least one person was killed and 16 were injured.
Meanwhile, the Air Force of the AFU warns that at least one more missile is flying towards Kyiv.
Reports also continue about drones approaching the Ukrainian capital and other cities.
