"Cuba poses no threat, nor does it have aggressive plans or intentions towards any country. There are none towards the US either, and there never have been, which the government of that state is well aware of," he said.
The Cuban leader also stated that Cuba "is already suffering from multi-dimensional aggression from the US," and emphasized that this "cannot logically or honestly be used as a pretext for unleashing war against the noble Cuban people."
The country's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, added that the Trump administration is fabricating a case day by day to justify a ruthless economic war against the Cuban people and possible military aggression.
