Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya commented on the phone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Alyaksandr Lukashenka, noting that the French side wanted to send a clear signal regarding the war and nuclear blackmail.

According to reports from Lukashenka's press service, the contact took place at the initiative of the French side. The politicians discussed regional problems and Belarus's relations with the EU. These negotiations took place against the backdrop of recent Russian nuclear drills and Volodymyr Zelenskyy's meeting with the leaders of Germany, France, and the UK, where the Belarusian issue was also raised.

France has not yet officially reported the details and results of these negotiations. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's office published the following comment:

"The main goal is to send Lukashenka a clear signal about the unacceptability of further involvement of Belarus in the war, as well as participation in nuclear blackmail and creating threats in the region. At the same time, everyone understands that Lukashenka does not have true independence, depends on the Kremlin, and does not represent the Belarusian people.

In recent months, we have seen that the regime is only intensifying pressure on its neighbors, provocations continue, as do repressions against Belarusians. We must strive for systemic irreversible democratic changes in Belarus and a genuine dialogue — a dialogue with Belarusian society."

Франция пока официально не сообщала детали и результаты этих переговоров, но Офис Светланы Тихановской уже знает "Главную цель". Макрон звонил Тихановской?
