On Navalny's Birthday, the Audiobook "Patriot" Was Released

Alexei Navalny's associates released an audio version of the politician's book "Patriot" on what would have been his 50th birthday, his widow Yulia Navalnaya announced.

The work can be listened to for free on the One Book Publishing website, as reported by 'Novaya Gazeta Europe'.

Navalny's family, writers Boris Akunin and Mikhail Zygar, actors Chulpan Khamatova, Yana Troyanova, and Artur Smolyaninov, as well as performers Noize MC, Vladi, and Lyova Bi-2, participated in the voice acting for the book.

Additionally, Navalny's team launched a website with an archive of the politician's speeches, interviews, investigations, photos, and posts. According to Leonid Volkov, it contains materials that are no longer easily found through search engines. Navalny's team worked on the website for about a year and a half.

Alexei Navalny was killed on February 16, 2024, in a penal colony in the village of Kharp, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The Insider later revealed that the politician was poisoned with the highly toxic substance epibatidine. This was confirmed in a joint statement by the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
