Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces Robert "Madyar" Brovdi stated in an interview with Reuters that in the near future Ukraine plans to isolate occupied Crimea from Russia by taking control of key supply routes for Russian troops.

According to "Madyar," active Ukrainian drone strikes on occupied territories have already significantly complicated enemy logistics and fuel supplies. Particular attention is being paid to the R-280 highway, which connects Rostov-on-Don with Crimea and is an important route for the Russian army.
Brovdi claims that the intensity of traffic on this road has significantly decreased over the past month, and soon it may come under full Ukrainian fire control.
Military analysts note that the campaign of Ukrainian strikes on rear facilities in occupied territories has reduced the capabilities of Russian forces to supply the front, and also weakened the air defense system, allowing strikes on more distant military and industrial targets.
According to "Madyar," the main goal of this strategy is to create conditions under which the presence of Russian military personnel and defense sector employees in Crimea and other occupied territories will become extremely difficult.
Following the destruction of the Chonhar bridge and the closure of another important crossing between Henichesk and Arabat Spit, the possibilities for the movement of Russian forces in this region have further decreased.
