Girl dropped from 40-meter height in Brazil after safety rope forgotten
In the Brazilian state of São Paulo, a 21-year-old girl died during a rope jump from a 40-meter bridge. The organizers forgot to put the equipment on her.

The accident occurred on Saturday, June 13. 21-year-old Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas died during an extreme jump from a height. The organizers considered her ready and sent her into free fall, without attaching any safety equipment at all.

After she was dropped from the bridge, onlookers noticed a terrible mistake. In video recordings that circulated on social media, witnesses can be heard desperately shouting that the rope remained on the platform.

The girl died on the spot from the injuries sustained in the fall from a 40-meter height.
Police arrested six people.
