Administrator of well-known Z-channel, which relishes Russian strikes on civilian targets, has died
Russia has reported the death of one of the administrators of the Z-channel "From Mariupol to the Carpathians," which became known for publishing videos of Russian drone strikes on civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region, writes Telegram channel Astra.

The message about the death appeared on June 10 in the channel itself, which is associated with the "Squadron" unit of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation. The authors wrote that they had lost their comrade-in-arms but did not reveal his name or the circumstances of his death.

According to reports in comments and media information, the deceased may be Alexander Shaptura — the so-called Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the "DPR" and head of the department for combating organized crime. He also participated in hostilities against Ukraine in the Kherson direction.
Shaptura's name was previously mentioned in materials from the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, where he was linked to kidnappings and torture of people in the occupied territory. In 2023, Vladimir Putin awarded him the rank of police major general.
The day before, the channel "From Mariupol to the Carpathians" published a video in which a drone drops ammunition on a pedestrian in Kherson. The authors accompanied the footage with a statement that it is they who decide "who can walk on Russian soil, and who will die under a fence."
Previously, the channel also posted a video of a drone attack on UN mission vehicles in Kherson, after which it deleted the publication. In other posts, the authors referred to civilian transport, shops, and markets within the city as legitimate targets.
The circumstances of the channel administrator's death are not officially disclosed at this time.
