The ban on the export of fuel from Kyrgyzstan was in effect before, but it could not be exported outside the EAEU.

According to the introduced amendments, the ban on the export of fuel by road and rail transport now applies to EAEU member countries.

The resolution does not specify a concrete date; the ban will be in effect "until the saturation of the domestic market or the formation of common markets for oil and petroleum products" of the EAEU.

In addition, until April 1, 2027, the government has suspended the validity of a clause in the resolution that prohibited the import of oil and petroleum products in fuel tankers from China — through Kyrgyz-Chinese checkpoints, writes 24.kg.
