Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is proposing several possible formats for a ceasefire.
Among the proposed initiatives are an air truce, a refusal to strike energy infrastructure, and a complete freeze of hostilities along the current front line, followed by the initiation of complex negotiations.
Additionally, Podolyak emphasized that the President of Ukraine expresses readiness for a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin.
In turn, the Russian side had previously insisted on full control over Donbas as a key condition for ending the war and rejected local ceasefires.
Regarding a possible meeting of the leaders, Putin had stated his readiness to hold it only in Moscow.
