In the Spanish city of Benidorm, a funeral urn with ashes was found in a supermarket locker. The unusual discovery was made by the store manager during a check of the lockers, Euronews reports .

Local police have started searching for the relatives of the deceased, but so far no one has reported the urn missing. To help identify its owners, law enforcement published a photo of the find and appealed to the public for help.
Police noted that customers usually forget keys, wallets, or mobile phones in lockers, but not funeral urns.
If relatives cannot be found, the urn will be transferred for safekeeping to the Benidorm city cemetery, where it will remain until its rightful owners claim it.
