"The strictest measures must be taken!" In Salihorsk, a pensioner complained about TikTokers filming dances in the park

For several years now, elderly people in Salihorsk have been gathering every Sunday in the local Park of Four Elements to dance, meet friends, and spend a pleasant evening. These dance gatherings have become a good city tradition and are even gaining popularity on TikTok. But this latter fact, as it turned out, is not to everyone's liking.

Recently, Minister of Culture Marat Markau held a meeting with citizens in Salihorsk, during which an elderly woman complained to him that bloggers actively film dances, post them on TikTok, and this, she said, deters many from the event because they do not want to be seen on the internet.

"Our TikTok is simply shining with Salihorsk footage. Can't go out, can't ride the bus - nothing," she complains.

The woman claims that local authorities told her they couldn't do anything, but she said she was in Minsk's Chelyuskintsev Park and read there that filming is prohibited on the dance floor. Therefore, she asks Marat Markau to "stop filming in our Salihorsk too."

"When you approach people - a million times the same thing. The answer is - don't go. Some say - if you don't want to be filmed, then stay home. A 78-year-old person was offended, called inadequate, when she asked not to be filmed. Is this an evening of rest? Why can't elderly people who organized this evening now attend it because of filming?

Somehow, the strictest measures must be taken against our bloggers!" the woman urged.

Markau was caught off guard by the question and was not ready to give a specific answer. A local official came to his aid, noting that "everyone wants their minute of fame," and that people wanting to show the residents of Salihorsk is normal. In any case, he said, this is an internal matter that the district leadership should consider.

The video posted on TikTok, where the woman asks her question, sparked active discussion - over a thousand comments. Opinions were divided - some supported the woman, but most still believed that the video does more good than harm:

"Who are they bothering? If you don't want to, don't watch. I enjoy watching. Everything is civilized, decent, no inadequate people visible. Learn to rejoice with people."

"One hundred percent correct, many people don't want the whole world to watch them, but want to come and dance peacefully for themselves... In our city, there are also constant quarrels because of these recordings... Many no longer go to such dances just because of this..."

"It's very pleasant to watch, everyone is so dressed up, energetic. It lifts the mood. I like watching Natasha dance. Those who are just strolling through the park don't even get into the frame."

"Let her go to the dacha, and they won't film there. Our Salihorsk is watched by the whole world. And good reviews are written. My friends from Germany have also been to the dances more than once, they were very pleased."

"What does 'If you don't want to be filmed, stay home???' mean? It's my right to stay home or visit dance floors, those same recreation areas. But no one has the right to film me just because someone wants to. And I'm far from the only one in my circle who thinks this way. And respect and admiration for the woman for this question. I hope the Minister of Culture will take note of this issue and resolve it positively (regarding the question asked)."

"Perhaps it shouldn't be forbidden, but people who do not wish to appear in the camera lens of other people's phones should be provided with a certain 'security'. It's not normal when a person says 'don't film me' and hears insults and suggestions to 'not come' or 'stay home' in response."

"Your dances in Salihorsk are a standard of beauty. The people are beautiful. The outfits are dignified. Watching your dances makes you want to live."

"In Homel, the dance floor was divided into two parts: filming on one, and not on the other. So there are no problems. Everything can be resolved."

папарацци, хайпующих на танцевальных вечерах пенсионеров. Если руки чешутся, снимай дома собственную вонючую рожу или дикпик и выкладывай в тик-ток. Тьфу на вас всех.
