Belarusian showed an unexpected spot for successful fishing in the center of Minsk
Minsk resident Dzmitry shared a story of unusually successful fishing that surprised social media users. That evening, nothing predicted a big catch, but a simple trip with a fishing rod to the nearest body of water brought an unexpected result, writes Tochka.by.
The fisherman said that he and his friends simply decided to sit near the house, drink lemonade, but a pleasant surprise awaited them by the water. In the same spot, he managed to catch several large tenches and breams. Also, if lucky, one can encounter a white amur (grass carp) there.
The man boasted about his catch on social media and reported that he was fishing not somewhere outside the city, but right on the Svislach river in the center of Minsk. He noted that after such a result, there's no special sense in traveling tens of kilometers in search of fishing spots.
Users immediately started asking about the exact location of the successful bite, but the fisherman did not reveal his "secret coordinates".
However, he did share some of his observations. According to him, all the fish were caught using a regular float rod. For bait, he used cottage cheese, breadcrumbs, and marzipan. The fish bit best on worms and maggots in various combinations.
Other fishermen noted that such an incident might not be unique. Some users recalled recently seeing similar stories about large catches in Minsk, where fishermen also caught big breams right within the city limits.
